It was inspired by the beauty and functionality of traditional kimono belts Kumihimo, while mixing traditional craftsmanship and modern innovation. The special weave using so many strands of silk takes what is thought of as the most delicate material and creates a cord is virtually unbreakable and very durable. The ends of the cord strap are leather-clad and sewn together using the strongest of thread and technique to secure the attachment rings. This strength and durability means never having to worry about the camera falling because of frayed ends.
